The Lodging View is an essential tool for ensuring your boarding and daycare facility runs efficiently. It allows you to monitor space availability, reschedule appointments, and manage the needs of your clients—all in one easy-to-navigate interface.
Navigate to Lodging
- To access the Lodging View, click on the calendar icon in the left menu bar, then select Lodgings.
- The Lodging View displays appointments on a weekly basis, but you also have the option to switch to a 2-week view for a longer-term perspective.
- Hover your cursor over any date to see the occupancy rate and the number of pets for that specific date.
- The Lodging View will also show you which pet is in each room and their duration of stay, giving you a real-time snapshot of your facility's occupancy.

Room Categories
- Move your cursor over any room category (such as Standard, Deluxe, or Cat Rooms) to view the occupancy rate for that category.
- Clicking on a room category will hide that category, providing a cleaner view when needed.
- Collapse and expand categories, allowing for an optimized experience where you can easily see the overall occupancy at a glance.
Optimized Experience
By Lodging Status
- View the current status of each lodging room. This includes:
- Occupied: Rooms that are currently in use.
- Vacant: Rooms that are empty and available.
- Reserved: Rooms that are reserved for upcoming dates.
By Lodging Types
- Organize your lodgings by room types, such as Standard, Deluxe, Cat Rooms, or Play Areas, to better manage space and client preferences.
By Week Frequency
- Review the occupancy trends and bookings on a weekly basis. This allows you to anticipate high-demand periods and plan for staffing or space adjustments accordingly.
You can drag the appointments on the lodging view to reschedule them. You can even extend or shorten the boarding duration by simply pulling the bar.
