Booking limits allow businesses to set the maximum number of pets (by size, type, or breed) that can be booked for services. This feature ensures better workload management and prevents overbooking for specific pet categories, ensuring smooth scheduling and service specialization.

Set Up Booking Limits For Online Booking

💡Please note: booking limits allow you to establish the maximum acceptable number of pets for specific sizes, types, or breeds. There are no restrictions on other sizes, types, or breeds.

Step 1: Access Booking Limits Settings

  • Go to Online Bookings > Settings > Availability.
  • Select the Staff member you want to apply limits to.
  • Click < + Add booking limit > on the desired day/slot.
  • Click < + Add limitation > to begin setting restrictions.

Step 2: Choose a Limitation Type

Option 1: Limit by Pet Size

Restrict bookings based on pet size (e.g., small, medium, large).No restrictions on other sizes.

  • Select < Pet Size > under Type.
  • Choose the size you want to limit. Click < Edit Pet Size > to adjust the weight range if needed.
  • Enter the maximum number of pets allowed for this size.

Option 2: Limit by Pet Type & Breed

Restrict bookings for specific pet types (e.g., dogs, cats) or breeds. No restrictions on other types and breeds.

  • Select < Pet type and breed > under Type.
  • Choose the pet type (Dog/Cat) and select specific breeds.
  • Enter the maximum number of bookings allowed for this type/breed.

Option 3: Add Multiple Limitations

Set different restrictions for multiple sizes or breeds.

  • Click < Add limitation > after setting the first limit.
  • Follow the same steps for additional restrictions.
  • Click < Save > when done.

Option 4: Reject All Bookings for a Pet Category

Completely block bookings for certain pets.

  • Select < Pet type and breed > or < Pet Size >.
  • Choose the types/breeds/sizes you want to reject.
  • Enter 0 as the maximum booking amount.

Example Use Case

Lily does not provide cat grooming services.

  • She sets a booking limit:
    • Type: Pet type and breed
    • Selection: Cat > All breeds
    • Max bookings: *0*
  • This prevents any cat bookings from appearing in her online availability.
