The Task Management feature helps you keep track of daily tasks and responsibilities for pets and staff. It offers an organized approach to managing both scheduled and ad-hoc tasks.

Module Access

Task Management Module is available to the Ultimate Plan.

Navigate to the top of the home view to access the task list:

To manage staff's access to the task list, go to settings > staff > Role settings.

Task List

Tasks are categorized by Category or Schedule.

Task Creation

Tasks are automatically added when inputting feeding and medication schedules or adding add-ons without an assigned staff member.

Feeding Task

Medication Task

When the pet needs medication, the business can set up the specific date requirement for the appointment. Go to Appointment details > Feeding & Medication to set up.

Task Management

From Module Center

You can assign tasks to specific staff and add notes to the task.

Once clicked on the checkbox, it will pop up the Task Actions:

  • Bulk Assign: Assign tasks to multiple staff members simultaneously.
  • Mark as Incomplete: If a task is not completed on time, you can mark it as incomplete for follow-up.
  • Mark as Completed: Once a task is finished, mark it as completed to update your workflow.

From Appointment Details

They can take action directly from the same view — reducing back-and-forth and helping teams stay on top of daily operations.

  • Update task status in real time
  • Add feedback or notes for better handoff
  • Assign or reassign tasks to the right staff

Task Feedback

Businesses can customizable Feeding/Medication Feedback as they need.

  • Businesses can configure their own feeding/medication feedback options in settings > Client & pets
  • Staff can choose from these standardized options and may add additional notes.
  • Default system options are provided but can be customized to align with facility standards.
