How Evaluation Works
Whether you’re configuring evaluations for the first time or refining your workflow, this documentation covers:
- Setup: Configure evaluation parameters (price, duration, and criteria) to align with your business needs.
- Scheduling for new pets: Available to staff and customers for seamless appointment creation.
- Recording test results: Document test outcomes to guide future bookings and care plans.
Evaluation Settings
Step 1: Access Settings
Navigate to Settings > Service > Evaluation to define evaluation criteria and processes.
Step 2: Configure Evaluation Details
- Business For multi-location businesses, specify which locations mandate evaluations.
- Applicable service types: Select services (e.g., boarding, daycare) requiring evaluations for new pets.
- Status: Toggle evaluations on/off as needed.
- Evaluation results validity period:
- Always valid: Retain "Pass" status indefinitely.
- Expire after inactivity: Clear the evaluation ‘Pass’ field if pet(s) are not at the facility for a certain period of time.

- Price & Duration
- Service name in online booking: Customize how the evaluation appears to clients.
- Description: Use <Preview> to review the customer-facing display.
- Applicable staff: Designate specific evaluators or enable < Auto-assign staff >.
- Eligible lodging type: Restrict evaluations to specific lodging categories if needed.
- Color code: Visually distinguish evaluation appointments in schedules.

Evaluation Manual Booking
Step 1: Initiate Evaluation
Click + > Create new evaluation from the MoeGo dashboard.

Step 2: Select Business, Client & Pet
Assign the evaluation to the correct location, client profile, and pet.

Step 3: Confirm Details
Finalize the appointment’s date, time, staff, and lodging room.
💡 Note: Unassigned evaluations will be displayed in the default area in lodging view.

Evaluation Online Booking
For services like boarding/daycare requiring evaluations, clients must book an assessment before scheduling the primary service.
Online Booking Availability
Navigate to Online Booking > Settings > Availability > Evaluation to:
- Arrival time
- Limit by business hours and service duration: Align with business hours/service duration (Settings > Business or Settings > Service).
- Customize: Define daily pet limits by weekday.

- Override by date: Adjust availability for specific date ranges.
- How soon can your client book
- How far can your client book

Client Online Booking Flow
Step 1: Log in to Online Booking
- Existing clients: Sign in via phone number.
- New clients: Register with basic details.

Step 2: Service Selection & Evaluation Check
The system auto-detects if an evaluation is required. Clients click <Schedule Evaluation> if prompted.

Step 3: Choose Date & Time
Select a slot and view the estimated completion time.

Step 4: Review & Sign Agreements
Verify booking details and sign waivers (if applicable).

Step 5: Submit Request
After submission, the booking request will be reviewed and confirmed by the business with a further update.

Post-Evaluation Workflow
- Appointment Tracking: Evaluations appear under assigned lodging rooms.

- Record Results: Log outcomes as Pass/Fail, assign pet behavior codes, or add notes for future reference.

- Historical Data: Access past evaluations via the pet’s profile or <View Evaluation History>.
