MoeGo's Custom Care Type Name feature empowers businesses to tailor how their services appear throughout the platform, ensuring alignment with your brand identity and operational needs. This functionality enables you to:

By customizing how services are labeled and displayed, you can eliminate confusion for both staff and clients while reinforcing your brand's professional image.
How It Works
The Custom Care Type Name feature allows businesses to personalize how their services are displayed in MoeGo. You can:
- Rename care types (e.g., change "Daycare" to "Day Camp").
- Customize icons, descriptions, and categories in the online booking portal.
- Regroup services under client-friendly labels (e.g., "Scheduled Services" for swim sessions).
How-To Guide
Step 1: Rename a Care Type (Business-facing)
- Go to Settings > Services.
- Locate the desired care type and select the edit icon (✏️)
- Enter the new name (≤50 characters, unique within your location).
- Click < Save >.
💡 Note: Updates will reflect across all business-facing interfaces, including reports, calendars, reports, homepage, etc.
Step 2: Customize Care Types for Online Booking (Customer-facing)
Navigate to Online Booking > Settings > Service. You can edit an existing care type or regroup services into a new care type.
To edit the existing care type:
- Select the care type > 3 dots > Edit.
- Care Type Name: Displayed service care type title.
- Description: Service details visible during booking.
- Icon/Image: Visual representation (use Preview to verify appearance)
- Recommended custom image: 1:1 aspect ratio, ≤20MB (JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, WebP)
To regroup services:
- Click on < + Add new care type>.
- Configure all required fields.
- Assign relevant services.
💡 Note: Each service may belong to only one care type category.

A: No, this feature only renames or regroups existing care types. This feature modifies existing care type presentations rather than creating new service types. All changes work within MoeGo's current service framework.

A: All records will automatically update to reflect your customized names, maintaining consistency in your business reporting.
Q: What if another business uses the same custom name?
A: Duplicates are blocked per account—your names are private to your business.
Q: Can I restore the original default names if needed?
A: Yes, simply edit the care type and re-enter the standard terminology to revert.
